A Mark of Good Taste

What began in the latter half of 2012 as a relatively straightforward signage enquiry from a local bistro, soon developed into a complete corporate branding project for James Alpe Sign & Design.

In creating the look and feel for his restaurant, ‘Northern Relish’, businessman Thomas Corrigan asked us to produce a sign to help customers locate the venue on a busy industrial estate, working from artwork created by an associate of his based in Australia. However, as certain amends were required and co-ordinating these with someone based on the other side of the world would’ve proved problematic on a time sensitive project, our dedicated design department was happy to make the necessary alterations.

Thanks to these efforts, we were able to complete and install the sign on time and on budget in October 2012, impressing Thomas with our resourcefulness so much that he expanded his requirement to incorporate full branding across his new venture. In addition to the main sign, our designers also created an external swinging sign, menu boards for the bistro interior, printed business cards, menus and takeaway listings, plus other branding aids.

From start to finish, the team at James Alpe impressed me at every stage.
